Campus Setting
Just 45 miles from San Francisco, Calif., is the main psychology campus that nestles on 112 acre plot of land. Palo Alto University will reside among popular Silicon Valley residents that include Apple Inc., and many other tech companies. The school’s land in the city of Cupertino, Calif., rest at the foothills of the San Cruz Mountains of Santa Clara County, Calif., and create a serene scene of beauty and wonderful weather.
Academics
Students interested in business, psychology or organization development will receive an advantageous focus and enjoy the courses offered at PAU. This here 2 year bachelor of science is a program that offers an array of avenues into general management, human resources, marketing, communications, finance or research.
A few of the classes will even be taught by prestigious business professionals in Silicon Valley as well as staffed professors proposing years of solid academic experience.
Athletics
You will not find much of an athletic experience here at Palo Alto University. However, you will find generally fun-based activities around campus that will challenge students to show their athletic spirits. These events are usually about fun regardless of who wins. Tuition & Financial Aid
All tuition and fees for Palo Alto University are applied quarterly. Their flat rate for quarterly tuition is $4,998 with additional fees of $1,518. As the program one enters advances so does the flat rate which does so incrementally by twice as much, three time as much and so on.
Financial aide can be received once an application is filled out and properly filed, and all new students must do so to qualify. The assistance for tuition at PSU will come by means of grants, scholarships, loans or fellowships. For undergraduate students specifically, those funds will come by federal grants, state grants, federal student loans, scholarships and employment.
Accreditation
By offering such a competent graduate program in clinical psychology, Palo Alto University has the American Psychological Association’s Committee on Accreditation’s backing. Palo Alto also provides accreditation by the Stanford Psy.D. Consortium and The Pacific Graduate School of Psychology’s Ph.D. Program in Clinical Psychology that are both accredited by APA.
With established doctoral training since 1975, there are different requirements for each program to be accepted in. For example, a completion of four undergraduate courses are needed for their Ph.D. programs. For admissions into PAU’s M.A. in counseling, college transcripts, a resume and three letters of recommendations are requested.
